SNSD Set to Debut in Japan in September

SNSD will be making their official debut in Japan on September 8th with their single Genie.
On the 10th, according to a Japanese representative, SNSD will be debuting on the 8th of September. Rather than using the Korean title of Tell Me Your Wish, they will be using Genie for their Japanese single.
The group’s Japanese management company is planning on releasing three versions of their debut single.
SNSD’s representatives have stated that they are planning on beginning official promotions with one month left until their debut.
While many companies made love calls for the group, they chose to go with an the acquainted management company, Universal Nayutawave. With Kara signed under Universal Sigma, and Big Bang under Universal J, a splurge of Korean idols will be releasing their Japanese albums in August and September.
SNSD is already being introduced as ‘Korea’s idols’ on various TV programs in Japan.
