Girls’ Generation (SNSD) triumphed on KBS 2TV’s Music Bank on February 5th with their latest chart-topping single, Oh! from their second official album. Not only was this a fantastic victory for the girls and their Sones (fanclub), but the fans had more to celebrate when Sooyoung gave them three special winks!
You’re probably either wondering what’s so special about these winks, or arguing that all of Sooyoung’s winks are always ’spectacular and magical’ and nothing’s new. Either way, you’d have a point. I’m here to tell you that these winks were not only adorable, but they carried a meaning: they were promised.
Before the show, fans requested “If SNSD wins first place for Music Bank K-Chart, please wink three times” on a community site. And what do you know, the shikshin obliged, making Sones smile all around the world! It’s always nice to see celebrities interacting and being kind to their fans, and Sooyoung has definitely proved herself to be appreciative for all the love the nine girls receive.

Delighted fans commented that “This is great that she really did what the fans asked” and “There’s nothing else to say other than they are truly the best. Congratulations on winning!”
After they topped Music Bank’s K-Chart, SNSD displayed their gratitude by saying “We thank the SM family and the Sones who [are] always standing next to us and supporting us” in their acceptance speech.
SNSD and Sones truly have a loving relationship.
