Two girl groups, Kara and T-ara, both hit girl groups who reached number one many times, are to release new songs for the FIFA World Cup in South Africa at the end of April. Their songs are to cheer on the South Korean soccer team and hopefully help them win.
Kara’s cheer song, “We Are With You,” was composed by Han Jae-Hoand Kim Seung-Su, the ones who created the Kara’s hit songs, “Lupin” and “Mister”. “We Are With You” is a dance song that encourages the players and connects everyone together with its easy lyrics.
On the other hand, “We Are the One,” T-ara’s song, was composed byCho Young-Soo and Kim Tae-Hyeon who created hit single “,I Go Crazy Because Of You.” Unlike “We Are With You,” “We Are the One” has a choir of 500 people singing in it. This awe-inspiring song has a stadium-like presence which could possibly be used at the opening ceremony.
Meanwhile, T-ara and K-ara are ready to fight it out for their cheer songs. However, Brown Eyed Girls and After School are also to release their songs for FIFA World Cup in May.
