‘You’re Beautiful’ Drama Becomes Japan’s Most Popular TV Program

The idol drama, You’re Beautiful, is gaining high popularity in Japan as it currently has the highest viewer ship among Japanese viewers.
On July 20th, the drama was broadcasted through HooJi TV’s ‘Hallyu Alpa Summer Festival’. It eventually received 5-6 % of viewers, gaining the second and third place. Finally on August 3rd during the 11th episode, You’re Beautiful claimed the first place as Japan’s most popular program.
Since the drama airs at 3.30 pm, it is mostly popular among married women and students. Since the drama is only aired on HooJi TV, Japanese fans  are also requesting from a satellite channel specifically designed for Hallyu, KNTV, to televise the drama too.
Because of the drama’s immense popularity, 4000 tickets for Jang GeunSeuk and Park ShinHye’s fan meeting were sold within 5 minutes only.
Even though the drama was aired in Korea last year, its fame is still visible and strong among fans.
