Did SNSD’s Taeyeon & Tiffany recently undergo cosmetic surgery?

Even prior to their debut, the ladies of SNSD have been plagued with speculations regarding plastic surgery – and regardless of whether they’re true or not, the rumors have become a hot topic yet again due to recently released photos of the girls at a promotional event.
As you may recall, the SNSD girls had a break period after their hectic promotions for Oh! and Run Devil Run, and got back together this month in order to prepare for their upcoming Japan debut in September. New photos, particularly those of Tiffany and Taeyeon, have fans doing double takes due to slight alterations in the girls’ physical appearances, leading some to believe that these members underwent rhinoplasty (nose surgery) during their vacation time.
Despite her past denials, it’s been recently pointed out that Taeyeon’s nose seems to be slightly upturned and skinnier with a raised bridge:

Rumors about Tiffany’s nose have existed since the singer’s pre-debut days as well:

As you may imagine, lots of denial and doubt have been cast on this speculation, especially because many rumors have run rampant – one Chinese tabloid even claims that all nine members underwent surgery en masse. Some fans argued that the alleged differences were due to camera angles, and a few people brought up the fact that Tiffany recently got her wisdom teeth pulled which would result in puffier cheeks. Others stated that post-surgery swelling should be obvious for a long period of time. A large portion of fans deny seeing any differences in the pictures at all.
On the other end, many individuals, including SONEs, are giving the rumors some consideration. Various sources indicate that post-surgery swelling varies from person to person; in some cases, effects can be minor and disappear after just a few weeks. In response to the dental surgery explanation for Tiffany, many point out that it’s her nose and not her cheeks that look peculiarly different
I’m a big fan, but Tiffany’s nose honestly looks pointier and straighter,” one SONE admitted on a fan board. “Don’t be close-minded, because she might’ve really undergone surgery during her vacation.” Another fan touched on the fact that plastic surgery has become an accepted norm in Korean entertainment, adding, “Why is everyone getting so defensive? We’re supposed to love SNSD for their talent not their looks.

Lee Hong Ki states that his rival is Jung Yonghwa

This year, F.T Island was not seen much in Korea as they were busy with promotions in Japan. After successfully rising to third place in Oricon charts, this idol band group plans to make a comeback in Korea with a minialbum that will be released on the 25th.
Recently, member Lee Hong Ki held an interview with Sports Seoul regarding the new album. After several questions regarding the album, he was asked about CNBlue’s leader Jung Yonghwa. In response, Lee Hong Ki answered, “He is a good friend and rival that I often compete with. Although I debuted first, I am glad that Jung Yonghwa turned out so well. It might be because I experienced living as a celebrity first, but I understand how hard it must be for Yonghwa to go through such a busy schedule.”
Additionally, regarding CNBlue in general, Hong Ki expressed, “I am glad that CNBlue is working with us to promote a band type of music. When we see CNBlue, we become encouraged to work harder. I think that it is necessary to have a friendly rival. If we get the chance again, we want to perform with them together at a concert in the future.”
Meanwhile, F.T Island plans to comeback with their new title song Love Love Love composed by Kim Do Hoon and Lee Sang Ho.

Yuri and Tiffany will partner with Oh Sang Jin to host Korean Music Wave festival again

Last year, these three MCs showed their skills to the 2009 Incheon Korean Music Wave festival, receiving lots of love from the audience.
Therefore, the three have been chosen to host this year’s event as well. Despite Tiffany and Yuri’s busy schedule in Japan, the two girls still made room to host this year’s festival, and plan to show a great performance as SNSD members on stage as well.
This festival will feature many famous Asian stars, including, BoA, Se7en, Taeyang, Super Junior, 2PM, SNSD, and more. It sounds like a blast, so be sure to keep an eye out for it!

Kim Hyun Joong to release an album next year

It has been announced that SS501’s Kim Hyun Joong will release an album next year with his new label, Keyeast.
On the 26th, a press conference was held for the drama Playful Kiss.
At the conference, Kim Hyun Joong stated, “The reason why I moved to Keyeast was because I could act and sing at the same time.”
He then revealed his future plans to continue as a singer, stating, “It’s not for sure yet, but I am in training for an upcoming album. I do not know if it will be a solo album or a group, but by the looks of it, there will be a higher chance of being it a solo.”
A reporter asked about his status with SS501, which he replied, “Nothing is decided. No one knows if we will come out with an album in the future, so I don’t know why everyone keeps saying we disbanded.”
There is a good possibility that the album will be with all five members.
Stay tuned on allkpop for more information about this matter.

U-Kiss thanks fans on their 2nd year anniversary

Two years ago, U-Kiss debuted on M! Countdown, and to celebrate the event, the boys left messages of gratitude for their fans on their Twitter’s and me2day’s.
Kevin tweeted on the 27th, saying, “Everyone~! It’s U-Kiss’s 2 year anniversary today~! WOO HOO! Thank you supporting us all the way~ We really love all of our fans! KISS ME ♥“.
Alexander announced on his Twitter, “Morning folks! Congratulations on our 2nd anniversary~! Happy 2nd Anniversary to U-KISS~♥^-^ Schedule today! But raining! Have a nice day tho! Because of the rain, please be careful! God bless.”
Dongho said, “It’s been two years already. Thanks for loving us the last two years. Please continue to love us in the future.
Eli wrote, “Thank you so much for your continued support the last two years. We’ll work harder from now on.”
Kiseop said, “Fans! Thank you for always giving us strength. I love you. Congrats on our 2 year anniversary.”

Soohyun wrote, “Kiss Me my loves~ I will only say two things. Thank you and I love you.”

Super Junior’s KyuHyun responds to his antis

On August 29th, Super Junior’s youngest member, KyuHyun, left a short but stern word for his Antis on his twitter account: @GaemGyu.  He said, “I can stand it when you say bad things about me. You must have disliked something I did to do so. But don’t point your finger at my innocent family members and hurt them too… Think about what you’re writing before you write it.”
Now we know how mean Antis can get when they set their mind to hate a person. KyuHyun wouldn’t be the first celebrity to encounter this and he certainly won’t be the last, but that doesn’t make it any less serious. Particularly when innocent family members are brought into the mudslinging, which hurts them the most.
His fans showed him support by replying with:
“W.E L.O.V.E Y.O.U”
“Stay Strong”
“oppa, don’t lose it. they are not worth it.”
Will people now be more conscious of the venom in their words before they write any hurtful, negative comments?  Hopefully.

ZE:A’s Heechul confesses his love to SNSD’s Jessica for the 40th time

On a recent episode of SBS E!TV’s Yang HeeEun’s Cooking Show, ZE:A’s Heechul made an appearance and made a surprising love confession for SNSD’s Jessica.
Heechul shyly stated, “Jessica’s been my ideal woman for a very long time. I’ve bumped into her a few times during performances and on stage, and I was very nervous.” He even mentioned that he once purposely waited outside of SNSD’s waiting room in order to meet Jessica.
He then made an on the spot video message for Jessica by confessing, “Despite this being my 40th video message for you, I still haven’t received a response. Next time we meet, please feel free to talk to me.

Are modern girl groups too sexy?

With hot pants, butt dances, and provocative lyrics dominating the Korean music industry, girl groups have been focusing on a ’sexy code’ amidst the heated battle to the top.
4minute’s Hyuna recently performed a stimulating dance at 2010 Mnet 20’s Choice wearing rather revealing black hot pants while dancing on a chair. Every time her long legs swayed in movement, the crowd went wild over her sexy image. Broadcast cuts of the performance soon swept across internet portals, and included comments such as, “The first thing I saw was her legs” and “Enchanting eyes that seduce men”. Hyuna is actually just 18 years old though, and a senior in high school.

GP Basic, boasting an average group age of 15, came out on MBC’s Show! Music Core on the 21st ,and sang lyrics such as, “I steal your two eyes and heart. You’re already mine. Just look at me.” As they appear on screen thirsting for love, viewers must be once again reminded that these girls are merely four junior high school students and an elementary school student.

With girl groups taking the spotlight, sexually suggestive controversies have also been on the rise. Girl groups in the teens wear mini-skirts and hot pants like they’ve become staples of their generation, and wearing revealing see-through garments that give peaks of their underwear have become much too common. What’s unfortunate is that TV programs are actually encouraging such behavior.
Although public broadcast companies have shown movements in attempting to restrict the amount of exposure, they still give camera closeups to particular parts of the body, and they remain focused on the physical aspect of groups on shows.
Is the excessive market competition the issue?
Out of the four girl groups that appeared on Show! Music Core on the 28th, three of the teams showed off what is now deemed as a sexy concept. Nearly all of them wore hot pants and performed sexy dances in a race to the crown. Unlike groups such as Wonder Girls and 2NE1, who generally focus on their own unique color and style, most groups these days tend to focus on how to appear the sexiest.
Music, naturally, has taken the back seat.

Some experts believe that it’s the intense competition between girl groups that has caused such a situation to arise. There’s no longer any drastic differences in looks, outfits, and concepts between girl groups.  Therefore, in order to survive, it’s crucial for them to attract as much attention as possible.
Show! Music Core’s Kim Yugon PD stated, “Girl groups have been earning more attention than boy groups lately ,and so the competition is fiercer than ever. They’re all trying to find one more reason to get in the spotlight. A ’sexy code’ is a weapon for them to rise to stardom.
A change in the way viewers actually watch the shows has also changed.

Music Bank’s Seo Sumin PD stated, “Girl groups wearing sexy outfits and dancing in such ways do not actually give a direct influence on our viewer ratings.”
Instead, a recent phenomenon are the blogs run by teens. These blogs are the ones capturing broadcast images and spreading it on the internet. If they attract enough attention, articles begin pouring out from the press and suddenly attention is earned and the team’s worth goes up.
Agencies have been using the ’sexy code’ as an actual system too. A girl group representative revealed, “Putting out eye-catching sexy concepts helps earn a lot of attention on the internet.”
Brown Eyed Girls were always loved as the singers that sang well, but they only earned their explosive popularity once they switched to a sexier concept with Abracadabra. Rookie girl group Secret has also been on the rise with Madonna.

Variety programs like Bouquet and Sebakwi also consistently request girl groups to show off sexy dances, although such behavior has recently earned backlash from netizens for the middle aged panelist men staring in awe at such performances.
By strengthening the ’sexy code,’ requests for physical exposure has also been strengthened. In a recent survey by the Ministry of Gender Equality & Family, results have shown that 10.2% of the celebrities and trainees questioned were under the age of 19 when exposing a body part such as legs, breasts, and bottom. 33.3% were also forced to expose a body part.
A representative of a music program revealed, “We’ve never seen a girl group member refuse to wear an outfit because of pressure or because she didn’t want to expose too much.
There are no guidelines for such cases, although broadcast companies try to be careful when handling such matters. SBS recently set up some rules for the production of variety programs, and stated that overly sexually suggestive performances, excessive exposures, and the casting of celebrities that drops the overall class of the show will be restricted.

A representative of SBS‘ promotion team stated, “We’ve decided that showing sexually suggestive scenes and material in programs brings about too many problems.
Although MBC and KBS do not have any distinct guidelines, they have revealed that they make an effort to check outfits before going on air. Show! Music Core’s PD, Kim Yugon, stated, “The directors, PDs, and associates try to check outfits and dances during rehearsal. We also make requests for any changes if necessary.”
KBS Music Bank’s PD, Seo Sumin, stated, “With girl groups getting heat for sexually suggestive material lately, most of the groups make a separate set of outfits for public broadcasts. They also listen to our requests when we ask that they make changes to an overexposing outfit.” It was also mentioned that they try to pay attention to the types of camera angles used.
Still, there’s the issue of freedom of expression versus an invasion of it. Many have voiced the opinion that a new generation calls for a new set of standards.

A representative for a public broadcast company stated, “Before, stars actually paid attention when we deemed that belly button exposure was not tolerated. But after a while, it just kind of disappeared naturally. There’s a lot of circumstances where restrictions are made depending on the situation.”

A.N. JELL of "You're Beautiful" Making A Comeback

A.N. JELL of “You’re Beautiful” will be on the SBS Drama “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho” (AKA “Gumiho”) as cameos.

On the 20th, the representatives of the producing company reported, “Jang Geun Suk, Lee Hong Ki, and Jung Yong Hwa have accepted the request for the cameo appearance, and are now in the process of adjusting schedules. We are discussing where and how they should appear.”

It has been revealed that appearance of the three on “Gumiho” came about due to their collaboration with the Hong sisters in their previous work, “You’re Beautiful.” According to reports, the three will actually appear as the members of A.N. JELL.

Earlier in the drama, Park Shin Hye and Uee from “You’re Beautiful” also made appearances as cameos on “Gumiho,” and pleasantly surprised fans. Lee Seung Gi’s close friend Lee Soo Geun also appeared and brought much laughter to viewers with his “Divine Ad Libs.”

S/mileage Challenges SNSD and other Girl Idols

SKE48, S/mileage, bump.y and Momoiro Clover attended the “Idol Summer Festival 2010” at C.C. Lemon Hall in Shibuya, Tokyo. The groups got a precious chance to perform and they got to promote each of their traits.

100 members of the press attended. When Hayami Akari, age 15, from Japanese idol group Momoiro Clover was interviewed she said, “It’s the idol warring states, but our showdown will be our performances. I want us to do our best for our performances,” aware of the other groups.

Idol group S/mileage member Fukuda Kanon, age 15, threw out a written challenge to 9-member Korean unit SNSD. In an interview Fukuda said with strength and a smile, “SNSD is known as the idols with great legs, but we’re fresher.” “Everyone here, along with our seniors Morning Musume, AKB48 and SNSD are our rivals. But, we have fresh great legs and can’t lose to anyone.”

2,000 fans were in attendance this day. They will hold another event on the 31st at the same place.

Omo~ Now this is interesting!

SHINee’s Onew for Easy Magazine: “The Chocolate Abs are Melting”

Shining boy group SHINee did not dawdle at all during their nine-month hiatus from the K-pop scene. Apart from their schedules and preparation activities for their second album Lucifer, the boys have been lifting weights to keep fit. Now that they are busier and more popular than ever before, their exercise regimen has temporarily been put on hold.
“The chocolates (abs) are melting,” laments their leader Onew in the group’s recent interview with Easy magazine.
Jonghyun shares, “I haven’t exercised since promotions started…It’s quite sad actually; these are the muscles which I gained after working so hard.”
Fans would be quick to say though that the idols keep great figures. After debuting with a cute, colorful image, the boys are back in black, showing off a more mature, manlier concept. Their second album is now reaping the rewards, besting the charts while the charismatic title song Lucifer is still making fans dance to the handcuff move.
Check out the Easy exclusive interview below, SHINee Lucifers True Self: Investigating the Angel’s Heart of Lucifer.

How different is the response to this album compared to the previous albums?
Jonghyun: Because this is a full album, there seems to be more people who have paid attention to it. Also, hearing happy music in the summer makes people feel really great so everyone likes this a lot.
Taemin: Compared to the previous albums, the members were a lot more involved this time, and even participated in the making of the entire album, so we really like it a lot.

The style & image of this album are a result of many opinions from the members?
Jonghyun: For hairstyle especially, it is reflective of each of our opinions.
Taemin: It’s not for me…
Jonghyun: So that’s the case. Then it’s the case for most of the hairstyle. (laughs) Our costumes incorporated much of Key’s suggestions. In terms of our image and style as a whole, we kept discussing with our stylist to find a common point before creating this.

So for Taemin, this image was not something that you wanted?
Taemin: I made a lot of adjustments. There is something that I want, but the stylist said “Given the circumstances now, won’t it better if you do something like this instead?” So I ended up accepting his suggestion. Having long hair somewhat showed an even manlier charm.

Then is everyone satisfied with their own image now?
Jonghyun: When our new hairstyles were decided, we were very satisfied as we thought we can show a different kind of charm from SHINee. Really grateful for this.

Usually idol groups will produce mini albums so that they make a quicker comeback, but this time, SHINee had a 9 month hiatus. Was there any stress during this period?
Onew: We did not rest at all during that period of time and kept going for schedules. To be honest, we really only stopped activities for 3 months, but the preparation for the album took 9 months. Even though some people may think this is a long time, but during this period we put in more thought and effort into making our album, and prepared even more so it seems pretty good too.
It seems that during this period of rest, Jonghyun and Taemin had time for self-development?
Jonghyun: Yes! I spent a lot of effort in self-development. Did a lot of exercises, went for a lot of lessons, and had a lot of time to study. I also learned the piano and music composition. Really studied hard during these 3 months.
Taemin: I also learned dance and practiced a lot. It was a time to grow and develop.

Both Jonghyun and Onew participated in writing lyrics for this album. Is it because of some special opportunity?
Jonghyun: Actually the song “Obsession” which is included in this album is actually written even earlier than “Juliette”. It is just included on an album much later. I started writing lyrics because I said I was really interested and I wanted to try. All this while I have been constantly composing and out of these, “Juliette” and “Obsession” were not bad so they got chosen.
Onew: I also started writing because I wanted to do it.

How have people commented on the songs that you have written?
Onew: Many people who have seen the song have said “So you have been in love quite a few times.”

The main point of the choreography this time, the “handcuff dance” and the “slow-motion dance” have become a hot topic. What were your feelings when you first saw the choreography?
Taemin: Because there was a name given to the dance, it shows that our dance has received a certain level of attention so we felt really good.
Key: Although the dance was not choreographed by us, we did not expect the “handcuff dance” to receive so much attention. We thought that the “slow motion dance” will leave a deep impression but surprisingly, the “handcuff dance” received a lot of good response.
Jonghyun: It seems like if we are to give a name to our dance, it will not be popular. The name of the dance has to been given by other people before it can become popular.

What kind of response did you anticipate from the fans during the course of preparing this album?
Jonghyun: We did not really have thoughts that it will be good if our fans react a certain way. When we had finally decided on the image for this album, we wanted to work hard to let everyone understand SHINee’s uniqueness instead of just portraying the feeling that we are trying too hard to show a certain image. From the yunhanam image of “Noona, you are so pretty”, to the emaciated feeling given off in “Juliette”, these are not what we really want to show but is just a way to show what SHINee is. The strong image this time portrays a manly image. However, rather than saying that we are trying to emphasize this image, we are actually letting it show naturally.
Onew: It seems that everything is part of the maturing process. The members have all grown up a lot.

We have seen an article talking about how SHINee hates to hear that “their figures are better than women’s”?
Jonghyun: Of course we will hate it. If we really have to say, we are all very heavy.

You have said before that everyone of you are really big eaters right?
Onew: The amount of food that we can eat is no joke. We can even reach Ho Dong hyung’s level.
Jonghyun: The extent of our appetite is shocking. I won’t be surprised if it scares off people.

Who has the biggest appetite?
Jonghyun: Taemin and Minho can eat the most, Onew is not too bad either. However, Key is the kind who can restrain himself.

Why is that so?
Onew: Because once he starts there will be no end to his eating.
Jonghyun: Once he starts eating, it’s as if the floodgate has just opened. It’s to the extent that he cannot even close the door of the refrigerator.

Isn’t it difficult to restrain yourself seeing how the members can eat so well?
Key: It will be fine if I don’t start eating. It’s even more difficult to stop eating once I start.

The photo of Onew crying after receiving first place on KBS 2TV “Music Bank” has become a hot topic.
Onew: I also don’t know why I was crying. Our hiatus cannot be said to be very long, but it wasn’t very short either, but I guess I was crying then because I was really thankful to our fans who kept thinking of us during our hiatus. How do you feel to be able to promote together with your company sunbae, BoA?
Taemin: Firstly, there are really a lot of things that we can learn. This is the first time that we have activities together. Making her comeback after 5 years, I also feel very excited to see her on the stage.

You must have seen how each other looked during practice right?
Key: Even though we pass by her practice sometimes, but we have never seen her practicing.
Jonghyun: Because our practice rooms are all in the same building so we often greet each other and recently we bump into each other a lot. When we see her (BoA), she will always say stuff like “Keep doing well, I am watching over you” to encourage us.

Even so, there will still be this competitiveness going on right?
Jonghyun: We feel that it’s more important to present our song on stage. Isn’t it a win-win situation if everyone works hard together? After all, our styles are different.

Recently, the MR videos of singers have become widely talked about. Faced with netizens’ comments, it seems that you will be even more nervous on stage.
Jonghyun: Rather than to say that we are nervous because of the MR videos, we are nervous because the song is really difficult to perform live, so we have to really focus. Once we keep going on stage with that focused mentality, we won’t have the time to think of other matters.

Even so, to receive good comments should mean that you have a very solid foundation right?
Jonghyun: Really? (Haha)
Onew: This time, the song is difficult, and the notes are high, so usually we practiced live a lot.Unknowingly, it has been 2 years since your debut and now there are also many hoobae singers now.
Onew: Really got a shock. It’s very fascinating.
Taemin: Compared to before, it seems that there are a lot of new singers debuting very quickly.
Minho: The most awkward thing will be that the newcomers are actually older than me. If they are younger, I can be more casual when greeting them but if they are older than me, I still have to respect them even if I am their sunbae.

It should be the most awkward for maknae Taemin right?
Taemin: I try to avoid it. When we greet, I will just reply “Oh? Hello.” And then I will run away quickly.

SHINee’s popularity overseas is really something, so are you guys “Hallyu Stars” now?
Jonghyun: We can only express our gratefulness at being called “Hallyu Stars”. To repay the attention given to us, we must show everyone good performances. Even though we do not have albums recorded in Japanese or Mandarin outside of our Korean albums, everyone is still giving us a lot of love, so we are really thankful. Are there any plans to perform overseas?
Onew: Usually we will go overseas for activities after promotions in Korea have ended, so I believe this will be the case this time. Also, because of SM Town World Tour, we will be able to see everyone on stage again.

How different are the kind of support that overseas fans and Korean fans give?
Minho: In Korea, the fans can see us during broadcasts, fansigns, or at any venues when we have activities but when we are overseas, because we are just visiting, so we can only see our fans when we perform onstage and as such, we get really overwhelming response each time. For something like music, it’s more passionate if you can see it personally rather than to just appreciate it on streaming.

Who is the most popular member in China?
Jonghyun: We don’t understand Mandarin. (Haha)
Minho: I think it’s about the same for everyone.

Because of the language barrier, there will be this feeling of inconvenience right?
Jonghyun: This is the aspect which we can really feel the difference. Even though we cannot communicate using the same language, we use music instead.

The SM Town World Tour is a large scale concert where the sunbaes and hoobaes perform together. Are there any special stages prepared?
Jonghyun: Other than performing our title tracks, there will be performing songs from our albums that have not been performed on stage before.
Onew: Even we ourselves feel that it’s very interesting for sunbaes and hoobaes to be on the same stage together. We will be performing with other groups as well so it’s worth anticipating it.

To member Onew who has taken on the challenge of acting in a musical, what is the charm of a musical?
Onew: The charm lies in being able to breath together with the audience in the span of 2 hours. It’s good because the feedback is instantaneous.
Jonghyun: We have seen the musical when it was showing, he really did quite well, and it was interesting.

Do the other members not want to act in a musical?
Jonghyun: Yes, I don’t want to. Am I being too honest? I am not interested in musicals. Haha, I am more interested in composing.

The members have known each other for 5 years already. All of you should understand each other really well right.
Jonghyun: Given that it’s 5 years, without saying anything we can also…
Onew: No no, we will still need to talk to each other. (laughs)

Which member has changed the most since the first time you have met him?
SHINee: Taemin.
Jonghyun: Compared to the first time I have seen him, he has really grown a lot taller.

Which member has shown the most progress?
Onew: It’s me. When I first went for an interview, I actually wore a teddy bear T-Shirt but I don’t wear those any more. When I think of it, I feel that I have become a lot better.
Jonghyun: After all we have all been groomed through being in front of the camera.SHINee who also have very good figures, isn’t it tiring to exercise in the midst of your hectic schedules.
Jonghyun: I haven’t exercised since promotions started.
Onew: The chocolates (abs) are melting.
Jonghyun: After exercising, there is an increase in muscle and thus the body weight also increases but now that I am not exercising, I lose all the weight almost immediately. It’s quite sad actually, these are the muscles which I gained after working so hard.

SHINee who has debuted for 2 years, have you ever thought about how much of your target have been achieved when you are promoting?
Taemin: We are still far from achieving our target. Because our members are all very ambitious, so we have to always practice and to keep correcting what is lacking.

Recently, BoA who has debuted for 10 years has said that there will come a time when one gets tired of a repetitive life, what does SHINee think of that?
Onew: We may be able to be present for 10 years like BoA even if it’s just 2 years now. When we were trainees, it seemed that no matter how hard we practiced, we were not improving at all, and we just wanted to be able to stand on stage quickly to show so many things to people. Even though we have not improved, but to be able to fulfill the goal of being able to stand onstage, we worked even harder at practicing.

What do you think is the charm that is unique to SHINee?
Onew: Isn’t our greatest charm that of being able to show many different sides of us? Showing everyone how we look like as we grow up gradually, that will allow everyone to know that we can do many different things.

How will the promotions be like this time?
Jonghyun: Because we haven’t been active for a long time, the promotion this time will last longer. We will be promoting to our hearts’ content.

Where Will Heechul Find Another Friend like Donghae?

Due to their large number and significant age gaps between members of super group Super Junior, fans tend to worry that their favorite idols are not close at all. But they don’t need to nurse such concerns for Heechul and Donghae.
At the August 26th broadcast of Heechul’s Youngstreet in SBS radio, the DJ recounted a pre-debut story about his fellow member.
Before debut, when we were 21 years old, there was a girl that both Donghae and I liked. Then when I found out that Donghae liked her too, I hoped he will be with her, so I kept telling her good things about Donghae. One day, when I was chatting with the girl, she said ‘Why did you always talk about Donghae when you see me, and he will always talk good things about you when he sees me?!’ In the end, both of us didn’t succeed. Donghae says it is better this way…
Because of this incident, I feel that when faced with friendship and love, a man will choose friendship…
Before our debut, because I broke something, manager asked “WHO DID IT?!” And Donghae and I both told the manager “I did it!” This is truly the brotherhood/ loyalty of man…”

The bond between the two idols is striking, and Heechul seals it even more as he declares, “friendship is priority to me! In love, it is just a man and a woman. There are so many women out there but it is different for friends! Where will I go find another friend like Donghae?! Friendship is my priority!!
Just this week Heechul also made strong comments in his Twitter calling out the anti-fans of his friends, showing how serious and protective he can be.
These kinds of connections surely go the other way, for where else will Donghae find another friend like Heechul?
